Joseph Sporn, President, founded The Sporn Company in
1999. It blossomed out of his invention of the Sporn
Training™ Halter, and grew very quickly around this
single product line. His design of the dog Halter has
helped over a million dog owners worldwide gain humane
control over the most rambunctious leash pullers. All of
the product designs and concepts that you will find here
come from the inspiration of our dogs here at Yuppie
Puppy Pet Care Center in New York City.
Not a newcomer to the pet industry, Joseph Sporn opened
the first dog day care facility in the United States
here at Yuppie Puppy in 1987 after becoming a certified
groomer and working in an animal hospital. At first, it
seemed a strange idea to many, but this idea soon spread
throughout the city, then the country, and now the
world. As our design office is located above Yuppie
Puppy Pet Care, all employees of The Sporn Company find
plenty of time to interact with the dogs and their
owners. For this reason, you will find only fresh and
original product ideas from The Sporn Company that cater
to dogs, owners, and their needs.

The Double-Dog Leash
is the world's first totally adjustable leash
for walking two dogs! You have the option of
walking two dogs close together, two dogs far
apart; or two dogs of different sizes. The
Double-Dog Leash straps are made of quality
nylon webbing. All parts are made of durable
custom nickel-plated steel for reliable strength
and reduced weathering. The leash features a
no-tangle design, and the patented Sporn Adjusti-Buckle.
